I’d dreamed of owning a Bellapierre eyeshadow palette for a long time before I actually purchased my first – this All Stars eye palette. I love the Bellapierre makeup, and I have owned quite a few of their products when I was an active fashion makeup artist.
The Bellapierre lipstick line, their mineral foundation, and their loose eyeshadow pigments are only some of the products that have made Bellapierre Cosmetics famous in the mineral makeup world.
Someone showing interest in the blog once led me to think for quite a bit. I like reviewing makeup products, like this Bellapierre Eye Shadow palette for instance. What I don’t want to do is have to buy and buy without the need for the actual makeup product.
When I got to know the brand, it was because of the Bella Pierre Peach Blossom palette, one of their most famous palettes. Since then, Bellapierre Cosmetics has released more makeup products than I can count. Eyeshadow palettes, liquid matte lipsticks, highlighters, and even a stunning lipstick palette.
Bellapierre Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette All Stars
I’ve known the brand for the longest time, I bought A LOT of their products back when I was raiding the French discount website BeautéPrivée. Over here in London, I must admit I had never come across Bellapierre Cosmetics but on one of my regular trips to TK Maxx a few weeks ago, I found this babe for £9.99.
You probably already know I am a huge TKMaxx fan – especially the extensive range of candles that you can find from brands like Pecksniffs, Sand and Fog, and DW Home. One of my favorite candle brands from T K Maxx is Makers of Wax Goods, which I’ve loved so much that I felt it deserved to be shared here on The Rouge Velvet.
Back to the All Stars eyeshadow palette though – we’ll leave candles for another time.
Opened it, saw the metallics and shimmers, and since I had been feeling like getting (yet another) ‘complete’ palette, thought it over a bit (because it’s yet another complete palette in my stash) and oh well, the rest is history. This new Bellapierre palette was mine.
A sturdy packaging, an overall sleek palette, nicely sized pans and a good balance between the neutrals and colorful shades – that’s how I can sum up this Bellapierre eye shadow palettes
Although there are as usual too many browns to my liking, especially if it comes to combining the light green, bright blue and plum-purples with another matte shade. Just one or two other mattes of a colorful hue would have been nice.
Honestly, this Bellapierre eyeshadow palette is still a very good find. The mattes are really buttery and the metallics… I initially bought this eyeshadow palette from Bellapierre to use on models during photoshoots. I tried it by mixing two of the metallic eyeshadows with my Mehron Mixing Liquid to get a waterproof finish and the result was mindblowing.
I feel like the price point for the All Stars Bellapierre eyeshadow palette is a bit steep. The RRP is €50, and I was lucky enough to find it for less than a tenner. Still, if this is one of your very first palettes for the eyes, it totally deserves it.
Bellapierre Eye Shadow Palette All Stars | Final Thoughts and Review
Given that Bellapierre started as a 100% mineral makeup brand and still uses only “healthy” non harmful ingredients, it also adds to the price. In any case, I swatched for you the most important shades aka the stunning metallic eyeshadows.
Very happy when it comes to those two purplish/blue duochromes in the middle. They’re so buttery and scream for your fingers to swatch them. For real.
So there you have it, my first Bellapierre Cosmetics eyeshadow palette – most probably not my last. I am most impressed with the stunning Bellapierre eyeshadow formulation.
I remember their loose pigments to be very high quality, and they’ve upped their makeup game with this All Stars eyeshadow palette. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next! A new Bellapierre highlighter palette? New stunning liquid matte lipstick shades?
