I should never have had this palette. But sometimes life makes you do stuff you\’re not really aware of, especially when you don\’t want to be aware that you\’re spending money you shouldn\’t be spending. Anyway, I was on the hunt for a new eyeshadow palette full of colors a few weeks ago and instead of buying several cheaper versions of what I really wanted deep down, I just got my new baby – the Jeffree Star Jawbreaker palette.
In France, this palette is sold at the Marionnaud stores so when I saw that it wasn\’t available on BeautyBay – it is now, I looked on the Internet and found it… on sale. It cost me about €46 instead of about a good 60 euros and you know what I love more than great makeup ? Great makeup for less.
This beauty is full of every color you might ever need or want in your life (well, you can always find new things to desire). Seven ultra shimmery, borderline metallic shades are included in an otherwise completely matte palette. You\’ve got transition shades for everyone, white, light pink, peachy beige and brown and you\’ve got pastels, brights and some darks for smoky eyes, the lower or upper lashline, light shades for the browbone highlight…
Sometimes, when I take this on photoshoots (which I\’ve been doing for my latest photoshoots), I\’ll just use some of the light matte colors as blushes. I have so much makeup now that any palette I buy has to have colors that can double as blushes – I can\’t justify the purchase otherwise. Not that I need to justify my purchases, but I need to keep my money for my London move now !

The mattes are a true success – this palette holds only creamy, pigmented af colors – except the Raspberry shade which pretty hard to swatch. The stars of the palette are obviously the shimmery eyeshadows, especially this bright orange that is ABSOLUTELY NOT one of the reasons I got this palette… But honestly, try this orange as a blusher and then tell me all about it ! x
