Sometimes I\’ll wait for ages before getting a products that\’s caught my eye. Like I always say, I can spend a fifty or a hundred on an order without batting an eye but I\’ll ponder over a €3 purchase for months. That\’s exactly what happened with those three products I\’ve been considering getting since my last trip to London – finally got them !
I would have bought them off Lookfantastic had they had the Nip+Fab blusher but they only had the other two products in stock so even though they had a discount, I chose to buy from Feelunique so I wouldn\’t have shipping fees from two orders.
This blush has not been reviewed on many blogs which is a shame ! It made it harder for me to choose if I really wanted it or not because the last time I swatched it was at Superdrug and no stores carry Nip + Fab over here in France.
This liquid blush in the shade Berry Bomb caught my heart the moment I swatched it
in May. I loved the packaging, I loved the texture, the pigmentation and the very cool-toned bright pink color and the fact that you only need a tiny pinhead drop to make your point. The bottle is smaller than I remembered but it\’s still huge considering what I paid and how long I\’m going to use it.
I mostly bought this to use on black models because I\’m loving pink on my black models these days but I\’ll also be using it on myself for upcoming looks so you\’ll see what it looks like on a fair skin.
I think you can also use it on the lips, which I sometimes do and it does give the cutest touch of color to the lips but it\’s best not to use on the eyes because it won\’t dry properly there. I know Nip + Fab make other liquid blushes and also liquid highlighters so I might get myself another one when I go to London in two weeks. The range is so large, I might have a little trouble deciding, though !
Back in April, I went to London for a photoshoot with my friend Emily, aka bubblegumbitchvision on Instagram
and she was wearing the most stunning nail polish – a mix of purple and blue, duochrome and stuff. I\’ve always loved that kind of magical finish but when I asked her where she\’d gotten it, she said Target, in the US.
Fortunately, as I was browsing the Barry M shelf in Superdrug, I found the shade Dragonfish
which looks just like her nail polish. I haven\’t used a Barry M nail polish in a long time and I didn\’t remember how pigmented they were, how well they applied with their super large brush…
It did cost more to buy it from Feelunique so the next time I really want a shade, I\’ll get it from Superdrug since they\’re £3.99 there. I don\’t think they have testers for nail polishes in Superdrug so I was very pleasantly surprised with that nail polish and I will be trying out more of Barry M nail polishes in the future – maybe their Hi-Shine Gelly range…!
Now that\’s the product I\’d really been considering getting, mostly because of its price. I very rarely buy makeup that\’s expensive (define expensive, lol) because I already have so much that I can\’t justify it and I don\’t want to lie to myself anymore, saying I need it because it\’s so different from what I already have – when it\’s not.
But the Gloss Angeles range caught my eye the first time I saw it on Instagram and then I remembered Boots carried the range so I could swatch them all. I\’d already fallen in love with the shade Traffic Jam
since its coral/pink with golden flecks color is right up my alley. The hardest thing then when I chose to get it was stop myself from getting other shades because at almost €20 a pop, they quickly add up.
I love how non-sticky it is, how the color is very pigmented but still almost transparent and very summery. Love the scent, love the shade, love the texture – I will be getting other shades in the future. Maybe Ay, Poppy and even Celeb Sighting, my second choice.
SHOP THOSE BABES !
All in all, I\’m very happy with this first order from Feelunique – it got to me very quickly, I didn\’t have to go get it from the Post Office or anything, everything was well protected and I love the three products I chose – will use in upcoming looks ! Xx
