Marrakesh Alien

Marrakesh Alien Makeup Look - MAC Cosmetics matte lipstick Marrakesh - Gingerly Blush - Inglot Gel Liner 68 - Neve Cosmetics Rugiada Per Makeup - Juvia\'s Place Douce Palette - Sephora Outrageous Volume Mascara - London & Paris Makeup Artist & Blogger

I started doing the Monday Shadow Challenge\’s Facebook group looks again last week with my Acceptable in the 80\’s makeup look and I was thrilled to do this week\’s where I had to use pastel green and beige.
Not that easy to mix those colors and I have to say, I wasn\’t crazy with how it turned out until I took that picture. I did take more but none has the cachet this photo has so I\’m keeping just this one.

I love graphic looks and I\’ve practiced on models often but it\’s much harder to achieve a perfect symmetry and fine strokes of brush on myself, especially on a big look like that AND with an Inglot Gel Liner. In case you didn\’t know, I am a very very big fan of Inglot, I love their matte lipsticks (I have reviewed my three red Inglot matte lipsticks a few weeks ago and my first two Inglot nude matte lipsticks tooand more reviews are coming your way soon !) but the first thing I fell in love with were their Gel liners. They\’re awesome, they\’re pigmented but they\’re also very fluid, dry very fast and are waterproof so you kinda have to be a makeup ninja to use them properly – I\’ve actually never come across a liner that glided that well and it always takes me by surprise.

Also, I\’m finally wearing my MAC Marrakesh lipstick for a look ! I just love this color on myself and I think I may have two of these lipsticks at home – one backup, just in case… Xx
