Hear, hear – here\’s to one of the very best eyeshadow palettes Juvia\’s Place has ever produced, the Festival Palette – cruelty free as the previous ones. Find me a palette with a petrol blue or something close (like The Tribe Palette, ughhh *.*), some bright mattes that are pigmented AF, and a mustard yellow and hiiii, I\’ll be there !
I could very well have just written \”This is a great palette\” and be done with it, but I knooow I\’m one to love reading details when I\’m on a blog post so here you go –
I didn\’t use this palette a lot in the first months I got it because I was really afraid of it – it is, indeed, full of very pigmented mattes that can mess up your whole look if you\’re bad at blending. I\’ve gotten better and better at it, be it on models or on myself (thanks to MAC for giving me people to practice on every day…!) and I\’m no longer afraid of it.
Well, I am when it comes to using them as blushes, which is what I want to do whenever I see the red – have you ever seen a red that beautiful ?! -, the orange, the yellow, the coral and fuchsia… I\’ve been crazy about blushes for months now and having a full palette that I can use on both the fairest and the darkest skintones makes me more than happy.
Of course, I wouldn\’t forget to talk about the four shimmers in it, all amazing colors – a great blackish grey, a light golden, a teal blue and the iciest white you\’ve ever seen ! Great pigmentation and payoff, a lasting power following all the Juvia\’s Place palettes, all of that retailing for €24 on BeautyBay, what more could you want ? Well, I know I\’m already taking pictures of the latest baby they\’ve released for you guys, the Nubian 3 that\’s full of corals and greys… 😀
