[Monday Shadow Challenge #7] White gradient…

Rendez-vous sur Hellocoton !Several girls seemed to have a hard time coming up with a makeup using white, this week\’s color for the Monday Shadow Challenge, or so I\’ve read in the Facebook page comments. As for me, the idea of my makeup just popped into my head and I mildly followed it.

This makeup may look very simple but I assure you that I\’ve worked on it and thought about it for several days before creating it, just because I wanted to be proud of myself.

Eye makeup

I wanted something very simple for the eyes so that your attention would be caught by my lips. I\’ve just used two eyeshadows for the eyes : a dark matte grey Hean eyeshadow #818 in the crease and as an eyeliner on the upper and lower lashlines and a very shimmery white eyeshadow from Moonshine Mineral called Winter. I\’ve used this one as an eyeshadow and a highlighter under my eyebrows. I expect to be writing about the Moonshine eyeshadows soon since I\’ve been very lucky and chosen to be a partner of this excellent brand.

I wanted my makeup to be very cool-toned and I applied a layer of the Manhattan Eyemazing black mascara to finish my eyemakeup. It was that easy.
Lip Makeup

I wanted to create a different ombré lips than those you usually see on the Internet so I chose a horizontal pattern. I used nothing but Golden Rose lipsticks because I have many and they match really well.
First of all I applied my Yves Rocher coconut lipbalm then some of the Sephora Ultra White nano eyepencil. The actual lipsticks I used are Golden Rose Matte Lipstick Crayon #10 and the Velvet Matte Lipsticks in #28 (cool dark purple) and #33 (black).
Face Makeup

I didn\’t want to wear any kind of loose powder, BB Cream or foundation. I avoid using this kind of product as much as possible because I want my skin to breathe freely and I don\’t want to look like I\’m 50 when I\’ll be just 30.
I just used some Max & More concealer on my few pimples and I used the matte brown eyeshadow from the Max & More Smokey Eyes palette to create a light contouring.
I then applied some Max & More blush in Bois de rose (a beautiful dark and subtle pink) and the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights so that I\’d get a cool pink glowy finish.
I finished my MSC makeup with my eyebrows using the Pierre René Professional Eyebrow Set I talked about right here. I just used the darkest color of all to get a more severe look.
Do you like this makeup ?
